welcome to New Hope Healing
A Multi-disciplinary Therapy Clinic in Iowa
New Hope Healing is a multidisciplinary therapy clinic offering mental health counseling, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy in a warm, compassionate and welcoming environment. We serve individuals and families of all ages and stages, supporting emotional, physical, and developmental well-being. Our therapists work collaboratively to help clients build meaningful connections with themselves and the world around them, both in our clinic and through community-based partnerships.
Trauma-Informed Therapy for All Ages and Stages
Our compassionate, trauma-informed providers are dedicated to meeting clients from all walks of life with care, respect, and individualized support. We believe healing happens best in spaces that feel safe, welcoming, and grounded in trust. At New Hope Healing, therapy is never one-size-fits-all — it is relational, responsive, and rooted in a whole-person understanding of healing.
Three Specialized Branches, One Integrated Approach to Care
New Hope Healing operates as one integrated clinic with three specialized branches, each offering focused services while working collaboratively to support the whole person.
New Hope Healing provides mental health therapy for individuals and families across all ages and stages. Services focus on emotional well-being, trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, and strengthening meaningful connection.
New Hope Speech and Occupational Therapy offers pediatric occupational therapy, speech therapy, and feeding therapy, in addition to occupational therapy services for adults. Our therapists support communication, sensory processing, emotional regulation, daily living skills, and developmental growth through compassionate, family-centered care.
New Hope Physical Therapy and Myofascial Release provides physical therapy alongside gentle, trauma-informed myofascial release massage therapy. This body-based approach supports pain reduction, improved mobility, and nervous system regulation, and serves as a powerful complement to mental health therapy.
Together, these branches function as one coordinated system of care — honoring the deep connection between mind, body, and lived experience.
Our focus on assessibility
We are honored to provide services both in our welcoming clinic spaces and within the community through partnerships at local sites including schools, non-profits and daycares. By offering therapy in multiple settings, we help reduce barriers to care and meet clients where they are.

Our Logo: The meaning of the dove
The dove carries many meanings across cultures and traditions, with peace and hope standing as its most enduring symbols. In literature, it often represents a new beginning—a fresh start after struggle or sorrow.
We felt it was fitting to use the dove as our symbol, as it reflects the heart of our work. We believe therapy fosters an inner peace and hope that ripples outward, strengthening our relationships, communities, and the world around us.
Our Stories Shape Us
At New Hope Healing, we believe therapists are not just professionals—we are human beings who have lived full, complex lives. Each member of our team brings not only education and clinical training, but also personal experiences that have shaped who we are and how we care for others.
Like many of the people who walk through our doors, our clinicians have faced seasons of profound hardship and change. Within our team are individuals who have navigated trauma, grief and loss, chronic illness, infertility and pregnancy loss, military life, immigration and cultural transitions, divorce and blended families, parenting children with complex needs, and deeply personal mental health journeys. Some of us have lived through violence, injustice, or the traumatic loss of people we love. Others have walked alongside loved ones struggling with addiction, severe mental illness, or life-altering diagnoses.
Many of us have spent years in our own counseling, healing, and growth. We know firsthand how vulnerable it can feel to ask for help, to sit across from a therapist, and to begin putting words to pain that may have been carried for years.
These experiences do not define our clients’ stories, but they shape how we show up for them. They deepen our empathy, strengthen our humility, and remind us daily of the courage it takes to heal. They allow us to sit with people not only as clinicians, but as fellow human beings who understand that life can be beautiful, heartbreaking, confusing, and meaningful all at once.
While therapy is always about your story—not ours—we want you to know that when you come to New Hope Healing, you are sitting with people who believe deeply in the possibility of healing. People who know that even the most painful chapters of life can eventually give way to resilience, purpose, and hope.
